Tuscany for the curious traveler
An all-inclusive adventure in the heart of the Tuscan woods.
Nestled between the Maremma and Chianti lies Borgo Santolina, an all-inclusive, exclusive-use medieval village where over a hundred acres of organic olive groves, oak forest, and sweeping valley views are entirely yours. Here you will enjoy the stillness and quiet of the Tuscan forest, with hundreds of acres of privacy, while still being close to airports, historic towns, wineries and the Tuscan coast.
Because Borgo Santolina is exclusive-use for one group only, you decide how to enjoy your stay. Relax by the pool with a spritz, get your hands dirty in the garden, or covered in flour in a cooking lesson. Taste wine and olive oil, or ride horses at sunset.
When it is your own Italian village, your stay is full of possibilities.
2026 RENOVATION PROJECT
All medieval villages need restoration now and then. A full renovation is being undertaken ahead of our 2027 launch.
Accommodations
Historical elegance meets modern luxury.
Step through time without sacrificing comfort.
Our 13th century Tuscan village centers around three historic stone buildings with 14 ensuite European king bedrooms that can be configured as twin beds, sleeping up to 28 guests in comfort and privacy, and modern A/C.
Food & Wine
In the country, we prefer cooking for our own.
Good food is the backbone of every wonderful memory, and in no place is this more true than Italy. We believe eating well is the secret to enjoying life, and we strive to provide the very best local ingredients and dishes for every meal.
In classic Italian fashion, the menu changes with the season, but one thing always remains the same: at Borgo Santolina, you will always mangia bene.
Activities
Located in the heart of Tuscany
Tucked into the hills and wrapped in forest, Borgo Santolina feels a world apart, peaceful, private, and deeply rooted in nature, yet easily accessible and perfectly placed to explore the best of Tuscany. Borgo Santolina is just 30 minutes from the medieval city of Siena, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and sits between the Maremma and Chianti wine regions, with Montepulciano and Montalcino not far off. As well, the Val d’Orcia, and Tuscan coast are all within easy reach.
The drive from Florence airport takes about 90 minutes, and private transfers can be arranged upon request.
